The Elizabeth Line opened today but at around 8:40am an emergency siren sounded

Today marks the opening of Crossrail now known as the Elizabeth Line. Thousands flocked to Paddington station this morning including London Mayor Sadiq Khan. What many did not expect is an emergency on the opening day.
