Scot receives first ever double hand transplant to treat scleroderma

Steven Gallagher was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease scleroderma roughly 13 years ago, causing scarring of the skin and internal organs. He has now become the world's first sufferer to receive a double hand transplant to treat the condition.
