Smoke billows to the sky as Kyiv is rocked by Russian shelling and explosions

Kyiv was rocked by several explosions early on Sunday, the mayor of the Ukrainian capital said. Air raid sirens had gone off earlier across much of Ukraine, including in the Kyiv region. Many Kyiv residents saw smoke after the explosions.
