People ride horses in the River Eden, on Day 2 of the Appleby Horse Fair

Thousands of travellers from across Europe have descended on Cumbria as the Appleby Horse Fair enters its second day today.Pictures showed owners washing their horses in the waters of the River Eden, while others rode through the town's streets.
