Lord West of Spithead: 'UK forces too weak to protect nation if war broke out'

Baron West of Spithead, a retired Royal Navy admiral, told the Lords that he believes the British armed forces are 'too weak' to prevent a conflict or protect the nation in the event of war breaking out.
