'China has risen from the ashes' says China's president Xi Jinping

Former British colony, China, is to celebrate 25 years since its return to Chinese rule today. To celebrate, President XI made a surprise visit to the city and in a speech, he said, China has had their challenges but they have 'risen from the ashes'.
