Treacherous wildfires destroy 6000 hectares in southwestern France

Devastating and treacherous wildfires that hit southwestern France on Wednesday (August 10) have destroyed more than 6000 hectares (15,000 acres) of land and ravaged at least 16 dwellings, firefighting officials said.
