Hurricane Ian: Britain braces for effects of weather that's wreaked havoc in US

Much of Britain will be hit by rain and winds of up to 70mph today as the effects of Hurricane Ian are felt from across the pond. The weather event, which has wreaked havoc in Florida in the US, is pushing warm tropical air northwards.
