Sadiq Khan stands by Ilford vote result after Sam Tarry's deselection

London Mayor Sadiq Khan says both Sam Tarry and Jas Athwal are 'Labour stalwarts' but it was up to local members to decide. It comes after Tarry, a former shadow minister, was deselected as Ilford South's MP on Monday night.
