Blow for Rishi Sunak as his first by-election as PM sees Labour surge to victory

Labour have retained the City of Chester by-election with Samantha Dixon claiming a majority of 10,974. Ms Dixon calls for a general election after Labour increased their majority by 11.6% in another blow to the Conservatives.
