Pope Benedict is dead at 95 after being 'very sick,' with funeral set for Jan. 5

At a December 31 press conference, Vatican Spokesman Matteo Bruni tells reporters that former Pope Benedict has died at age 95, and that his funeral service will be held at St. Peter's Square on January 5.
