Teachers' union secretary calls for 'immediate move to remote learning'

The general secretary of a leading teaching union has called for an immediate nationwide move 'to remote learning' due to safety concerns over the spread of Covid-19. Dr Patrick Roach also urged the government to 'put safety ahead of politics'.
