Skater crashes through thin ice of freezing Amsterdam canal

A daredevil pleased a crowd of onlookers in Amsterdam by skating, in just a pair of shorts, directly over some thin ice on one of the city's canals. The ice promptly cracked, sending the skater plunging into the frigid water.
