Congresswoman Marie Newman votes to pass the Equality Act

Illinois U.S. House Rep. Marie Newman voted on Tuesday, February 23rd, to pass the Equality Act. The law would ban discrimination against LGBTQ Americans, like her daughter Evie Newman.
