Nicola Sturgeon rejects opposition claim 'something rotten at core of SNP'

Alex Neil, an SNP MSP and friend of Mr Salmond, said Sturgeon and other senior figures would have to step down if the former FM can show he has been the victim of a 'stitch up'. Salmond is now understood to have agreed to appear before the inquiry.
