Baroness calls for 'epidemic of violence' against women to be 'acknowledged'

A peer in the House of Lords has warned of an 'epidemic of violence' against women. Baroness Kennedy of Cradely called for it to be 'explicitly acknowledged, saying there was 'hostility' and women were being 'disproportionately affected' by crime.
