Sombre Boris Johnson: Covid pandemic will haunt me 'for as long as I live'

At a sombre No 10 briefing to mark the anniversary of the first lockdown, the PM tried to strike an optimistic note about the prospects for getting back to normal, saying the UK is moving 'step by step, jab by jab' towards 'reclaiming freedoms'.
