Stones and fireworks thrown at police by gangs gathered on Springfield Road

Stones and fireworks were thrown at police by gangs of youths gathered on the nationalist Springfield Road, close to where Wednesday night's riots took place. Earlier scenes saw police using water cannon on crowds to try to disperse those gathering.
