Boat of Lord Mountbatten explodes in IRA assassination in scenes on The Crown

This clip shows the moment on Netflix show The Crown where Lord Mountbatten is assassinated by the Irish Republican Army. The longstanding friend of the Royal Family and mentor to Princes Philip and Charles died in August of 1979 after the attack.
