A 6.4 magnitude earthquake shakes the Assam region of India

An earthquake of magnitude 6.4 on the Richter scale rocked Assam and some parts of north Bengal at around 7.51 am on Wednesday. It comes as India is in the throes of a savage second wave of coronavirus, with its death toll soaring over 200,000.
