Rhode Island police investigating death of man handcuffed by police

Joseph Ventre, 34, was found groaning unintelligibly by police in a field in Providence, Rhode Island, in the early hours of Friday morning. Responding officer spent 10 minutes trying to calm him down, but he did not follow their commands.
