Starmer welcomes the independent inquiry into the handling of the Covid pandemic

Boris Johnson today declared that a full public inquiry in the Covid response will launch in Spring next year with powers to put the government 'under the microscope'. The PM told the Commons that the process is essential to 'learn lessons'.
