Study into the brains of songbirds show they can 'mute' musical mind of partner
A New Jersey Institute of Technology study found that plain-tailed wrens can 'mute' the musical mind of their partner so the pair can stay in sync. The team found the music making regions of the partner bird go dark while one of the birds is singing.
