Ex-Commons Speaker and Tory MP John Bercow says he has joined the Labour Party

John Bercow, the former Conservative MP and Commons Speaker, says he has switched allegiances to join the Labour Party. Mr Bercow said the Tories under Boris Johnson are 'reactionary, populist, nationalistic and sometimes even xenophobic'.
