United Nations 'most concerned about women and girls' in Afghanistan

The UN Council held a meeting this afternoon to discuss the human rights violations in Afghanistan following the Taliban taking control of all major cities including the capital Kabul. The secretary general revealed his concern 'for women and girls'.
