Japan's new crescent-shaped Island created by an underwater volcanic eruption

An underwater volcanic eruption near Japan has created a new, crescent-shaped island 745 miles south of Tokyo. The island has a diameter of 0.6 miles and is at the south of the Japanese archipelago.
