Israel discovers high effectiveness of Pfizer booster jab in elderly population

Israel has begun offering Covid booster jabs to over-60s and those with chronic illnesses known to exacerbate coronavirus infections. The Health Ministry has found a third Pfizer dose slashes the risk of catching Covid fourfold in the elderly.
