Afghan opposition leader says he is 'ready' for talks with the Taliban

The Afghan opposition leader Ahmad Massoud says he is ready for talks with the Taliban amid fears Afghanistan is descending into civil war after the last remaining stronghold of anti-Taliban fighters vowed to fight to the death.
