UK's daily Covid cases rise 9.4% in a week to 34,526

The UK has seen a 9.4% increase in the number of daily Covid cases when compared to last week, with Monday's figure at 34,526. A further 167 people have died within 28 days of testing positive for Covid-19, bringing the death toll to 136,375.
