Nine hundred police needed to quell Ecuador prison riot with 118 dead

Litoral prison, in Guayaquil, Ecuador saw a gang-fuelled riot that last three days, left 118 people dead - six decapitated - and 86 injured, and needed 900 police to recapture. It is considered to be the worst prison massacre in Ecuadorian history.
