Schumer implores 'extreme' GOP to stop blocking urgent debt ceiling bill

Senator Chuck Schumer implored Mitch McConnell and what he called the 'extreme' Republican party to stop blocking an urgent debt ceiling bill from passing, a bill which would keep the US from defaulting for the first time in its history.
