Mayo Clinic: Obesity has negative effect on immune system when fighting Covid

Donald Hensrud from The Mayo Clinic says that Covid is more likely to be more serious in the obese than those of a normal bodyweight. This is because obesity is 'associated with low-grade inflammation' which can have an effect on our immune system.
