Microsoft move towards their own 'metaverse' with 3D avatars in Teams
Microsoft is hoping to rival Facebook's 'metaverse' by rolling out Mesh - its recently-announced mixed reality platform - to Teams from early next year. Users will have the option to appear as customised 3D virtual avatars in meetings.
