Scottish First Minister calls for all UK arrivals to quarantine for eight days

Six cases of the Omicron variant were confirmed in Scotland today and UK labs are probing 225 more 'possible' infections- as experts warn they need at least two weeks to work out what impact the mutant strain will have on Christmas.
