Belarusian opposition leader calls verdict unlawful as her husband gets jailed

Syarhei Tsikhanouski, the husband of Belarus's opposition leader, was sentenced on Tuesday (December 1) to 18 years in jail for organizing mass unrest and inciting social hatred, the official Belta news agency reported.
