Nissan creates electric Newbird using battery from a Leaf EV
Nissan have created a special anniversary car called the Newbird - a 1988 Bluebird with the electric battery pack and motor from a 2021 Leaf - to commemorate the first car produced at the Sunderland plant 35 years ago.
