Apollo 8 astronauts read from the Book of Genesis in Christmas Eve message

The first manned mission to the moon, Apollo 8, entered lunar orbit on Christmas Eve 1968. Astronauts Frank Borman, Jim Lovell and William Anders held a live broadcast back to Earth, taking it in turns to read from the Book of Genesis.
