Overcrowded ferry catches fire on river 200km south of Bangladeshi capital Dhaka

Jhalokathi district's additional deputy commissioner, says the vessel was carrying some 1,000 people who were mostly asleep from Dhaka to Barguna district in southern Bangladesh when a fire broke out in its engine room at about 3am.
