Alfie Phillips: Mother who murdered toddler with partner jailed

The mum of an 18-month-old baby Alfie and her former lover have been jailed for life for the murder of the defenceless toddler. During the murder sentencing, judge Justice Cavanagh described the victim as a 'cheeky grin', 'full of energy and life'.
