Ruling DPP wins third term in Taiwan elections but falls short of majority

Taiwanese voters granted the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) an unprecedented third four year presidential term, strongly rejecting Chinese pressure to spurn the party, but denied it a parliamentary majority.
