Met office issues amber warnings after snow falls and over 100 schools close

Snow was seen falling on the pavement in Irealand today after a North-South temperature divide of 32C. Ten inches of snow fell, affecting the Shropshire, North Wales and Ireland areas in particular. Strong winds and blizzards are predicted next.
