Police boats searched the River Thames near Chelsea Bridge on Saturday, where alkali attack suspect Abdul Ezedi is believed to have "gone into" the river after allegedly throwing a caustic substance on his ex-partner in Clapham on January 31.On Friday the Metropolitan Police said detectives' main working hypothesis is that the 35-year-old had "gone into" the River Thames after being seen leaning over the railings of Chelsea Bridge in west London on the night of the incident.
