Putin says that Ukraine war is a 'matter of life and death' for Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia would 'be fine' without Europe buying gas. He then added that 'everything that happens in Ukraine, for them is an improvement in their tactical position, while for us - a matter of life and death'.
