Terrifying moment robbers ransack jewellery store and flee in standby car

Mazeer Malik was just about to shut up shop in Leeds, West Yorkshire, when the masked robbers struck. As his shopfront was destroyed by an old car used by the gang as a battering ram he grabbed the 18ins long bat he kept behind the counter.
