D-Day veterans share their stories of fighting Nazis in the second World War

The battle is regarded by many historians as the 'beginning of the end' for Nazi Germany and involved 156,000 Allied troops landing on beaches in Normandy on June 6, 1944. One veteran revealed his own 40-year-old grandson had no idea of his role.
