In remembrance of the 80th anniversary of D-Day a Beacon was lit in Herne Bay.

On June 6, The 80th anniversary of D-Day people in Herne Bay gathered together to watch a beacon being lit to symbolise the pivotal role played by our servicemen and women in history.
