High temperatures cause deaths and heatstroke as Muslims perform Hajj pilgrimage

Hundreds of people have died and thousands have been treated for heatstroke while performing the annual Muslim Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca amid extreme temperatures of up to 49 degrees Celsius.
