Boris Johnson urges for 'Olympic spirit now more than ever' as games kick off

The Olympic Games have officially begun this evening and it will be the first time in the history of the event that it has not been held inside a stadium. Instead, it will take place outside of a closed stadium, with a never before seen water parade.
