Eluned Morgan makes history as first woman to becomes Wales First Minister

The 57-year-old was confirmed as the new First Minister this morning as the Welsh Senedd was recalled from its summer break. She replaces her Labour colleague Vaughan Gething, who quit after just 118 days leading the Welsh Government.
