Thousands line streets to say farewell to the Queen on day for history books

It was two years ago today that Queen Elizabeth II passed away peacefully at the age of 96 , after a 70-year reign that many hoped would somehow go on forever. King Charles had been the longest-serving heir apparent in British history.
